 The Wiltern
The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles first opened to the movie making community back in 1931. The Wiltern’s grand debut was on October 7th of that year and has continued to make history ever since. This independently owned and operated theatre has been recognized by the City of Los Angeles as a Historic Cultural Monument. In 1985 this unique Art Deco Landmark was refurbished to its original creative décor. On October 15, 2002 The Wiltern celebrated its Grand re-opening after being treated to a $1.5 million facelift.
This dynamic landmark is located at 3780 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. It was named after the two major streets that cross at the intersection facing it – Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue. The impressive stature of this building is not only artistic, it also has a generous audience capacity of ‘standing room only’ at 2300 or more intimate seated arrangements of 1850. Originally designed for Vaudeville performances, this venue now hosts shows spanning a wide variety of genres – plays, bands, and more.
All Access Tickets always offers tickets to Wiltern shows, including Sting’s concert on November 28, 29, and 30.
